31. CHINA, A NATION WITH GREAT POTENTIAL
In Asia, Africa.. Europe, North America, Latin America and Oceania there are many overseas Chinese and 'good' Chineses Christians. Population of Chinese disphora is apploximately 100 million. They teach Chinese to their children everywhere and communicate in Chinese. Minnam and Cantonese speakers also understand the common language Mandarin.
As of 2020, China had about 1.4 billion people, and its economy has developed rapidly for the last five years. The great population of young Chinese who get information and purchase products via the Internet is about 700 million. In China, there are also many people in poverty or uneducated. More than a billion people and 55 minority ethnic groups have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The number of Christians in underground churches, house churches, and other forms of churches is estimated to be 140 million. Evangelizing China is the shortcut to world evangelism.
Therefore, theological lectures of Bread University can easily be given in Chinese. UUMission is on the front lines of soul-saving and evangelism to the Chinese people.
